I wish to welcome you to eSafe 1st International Conference titled “Children’s Well-being in the Digital World”. We are honored for the kind patronage and inauguration by H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister for Tolerance and Coexistence.

In line with local and international efforts of UAE leadership in protecting children from online exploitation and abuse, this international conference provides a platform for government, private and other educational entities to synergise their efforts towards protecting children, promoting their well-being.

Children’s lives are split between online and offline environments. More children are going online at younger ages, so is their exposure to online risks. Together, we need to understand how to reduce the risk of harming children online while maximizing their opportunities for learning, participation, innovation and creativity. Read more
